I’m Elaine and I own and run Squarcle Crafts. Born in Bolton I moved to Lincoln in 2017 to be nearer my daughter and granddaughters. I have done cross stitch most of my life and despite now being 71 I have started having stalls at local church and village fairs where I was first asked to design a cross stitch pattern, an Octopus for a fan, which you can see on this page.

I still look for innovative and quirky patterns, and started to ask why cross stitch and embroidery were kept so much apart and thought I’d do something about it, Squarcle crafts was born.
